The issue seems to have been fixed now.

Here's what i did:
Regedit.exe

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\AllFolders\Shell 
New -> String Value "FolderType" -> Data "NotSpecified"
